After spending a week in Yellowstone and seeing almost every one of these things, I still have no idea what their official name is. Some say hot pots, some say paint pots, but the general consensus seems to be hot spring, so that's what I'm going to put down. For the record, I did not alter these in any way, they really do look like that. These are not the kind of hot springs you would want to take a dip in, considering the water would probably burn your skin off if you did. And they smell really, REALLY bad. Sort of raw sewage meets rotten eggs *shiver*.INFO
